This class was developed after the ambush murder of Deputy Matt Williams and his K-9 "DiOGi" while tracking in a rural stretch of woods in Polk County Florida. We took what we learned from this tragedy and enhanced the traditional military formations to fit our strategic needs during woodland operations. This course explores the nature of K-9 teams working closely with SWAT members during such high risk operations and:
